Question for the Ladies and the Men: Do you believe in “Soul Mates”?

The term soul mate means many different things. These are souls that you have experienced with in past, parallel or future lifetimes. They can also be aspects of your soul experiencing at this time in another body. We are all multidimensional beings, your soul having experiences, in many realities, at the same time. As we all evolve from the same source of consciousness creation, we could say that we are all soul mates in a manner of speaking.
Soul mate is sometimes used to designate someone with whom one has a feeling of deep and natural affinity, friendship, love, intimacy, sexuality, and/or compatibility. Soul mates can have various types of relationships, which do not always include romantic love. They can be close friends, co-workers, a teacher, anyone who influences your life one way or another. They play the emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental, games of third dimension with you. They can affect relationships in a positive or negative way depending on the emotional issues of the people concerned.
Souls often come together to work out issues or play reverse roles than that which they are experiencing elsewhere.
Anyone who is in your biological family, or adopted family, or pseudo-family, is a soul mate to you.
You feel closer to certain souls, because you have attracted them into your life as they are on the same frequency as you or because you want to work out issues with them.

** I am not sure if I personally believe in “Soul Mates”. However, I do believe everyone is brought into our lives for a reason and some are brought into our lives for a “specific” reason, it is up to us to figure out the reason and learn and grow from it** Isn’t that right Double D:)
Food for thought!

  1. I think the concept of "soulmates" is something women torture themselves with as a means to explain why they either don't have a man or the relationship they have with their man isn't working. News flash: You don't have a soulmate. Ya ass is lucky you have a man. Get your head out of the clouds and work on the relationship you have instead of trying to dream of some mystery soulmate that isn't out there.

  3. Sheldon yes I will respond. I totally disagree with you. I don't think "people" not just women believe in Soulmates to make excuses for not finding the right person or a reason to stay with the person they are with, even if it is a tumultuous relationship. I believe peoploe who do believe in Soulmates believe in them because they have experienced a strong connection with another human being. Again, soulmates aren't always romantic, a Soulmate can be a friend, family member, etc.,so stop thinking of a Soulmate in a romantic form and ask yourself the quesiton again?? C Double R

  4. uhh hmmm (clears throat)

Well, I believe soul mates are REAL. Whether you believe it or not @TrueMan.

You cannot tell me that you never met someone that you felt you met before in a past life..

You cannot sit here & say that you never met someone that you just instantly felt a spark with...

for whatever reason, whether or not you want to give that person a label, they were indeed your SOUL MATE....

Whether they came into your life for a reason, or a season, they were definitely your soul mate!

  8. Now here you go...

C Double - Look, there is no soulmate, romantic or otherwise. There is no magic person who comes swooping in from the heavens that you have this instant magical connection with. Doesn't happen. We are not Legos that have a perfect fit with someone. Ain't happenin'. You might get along with someone, like them, have an interest, that's all. People wait around for soulmates like it's manna from heaven and waste alot of time doing so. Deal with what you've got and who you know.

Monay - no I have never met a person from my past life because I've never had one. You get one life, that's about it. You're not coming back as Cleopatra, a butterfly, a blade of grass, none of that.

I've met people that I've thought I have a lot in common with but "soulmates", nope. Stop dreaming, ladies.
